Cholaca Fudge Sundae

Ingredients
  • 8 oz bittersweet cholaca chopped wafers
  • 1/2 cup very strong black coffee
  • 3 tbsp salted butter, cut into pieces
  • 4 tbsp heavy cream (three turns around the pan)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pint chocolate ice cream
Suggested Garnishes
  • chopped peanuts
  • whipped cream
  • maraschino cherries

Instructions
  1. In a heavy saucepan over medium low heat melt the cholaca wafers and the coffee
  2. Once melted remove pan from heat and stir in the butter, cream, and cinnamon.
  3. Scoop ice cream into serving dishes top with sauce and toppings of your choice
