Cholaca Dipped Macaroons
Celebrate summer with a healthy and delicious treat. These power packed Cholaca dipped macaroons bring fiber, protein and energy to desert- without added sugar.
  • 1 1/4cup unsweetened fine coconut shreds
  • 1/4cup almond flour
  • 3tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 2scoops collagen powder
  • 2tbsp honey
  • 1tsp agave
  • 1tbsp orange juice or juice from approx 1/2 orange
  • 1tbsp orange zest
  • 1 1/2tbsp ground flax meal
  • 1tbsp Cholaca
  • 1 egg white
Cholaca Glaze
  • 2tbsp Cholaca
  • 1tbsp organic dark chocolate chips
  • 1tsp orange zest 1/2 tsp orange juice
  1. Preheat oven to 350f
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. Blend all macaroon ingredients together until a soft dough forms that holds together (you still want the coconut texture)
  4. Form small balls and place onto baking sheet
  5. Bake 10 – 14 minutes, until just golden brown
  6. Transfer to wire rack to cool
  7. In small bowl melt chocolate chips, Cholaca and orange juice (if microwaving make sure to microwave on low power for just 30 sec increments)
  8. Dip cooled macaroons into chocolate and dust with additional orange zest if desired
  9. Cool again on wire rack for approx. 10 mins
