Cholaca Spring Power Smoothie
Ingredients
  • 2oz Cholaca Pure Liquid Cacao
  • 1oz organic coconut milk
  • 1tbsp organic plain greek yogurt
  • 1scoop chocolate or vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1/4cup organic kale
  • 1 banana
  • 6 fresh, frozen strawberrieskeep leaves on when freezing
  • 1whole fresh orange for zest
  • ice
Equipment Needed
  • Blender
  • 16-to-20 ounce cold drinking glass, shaker tin or large cup
  • BarBack Beverage multi-tool(or a knife and a zester)
Instructions
  1. Add all liquid ingredients to blender container.
  2. Add greek yogurt, banana, 5 whole frozen strawberries (with leaves on for extra vitamins & healthy roughage) and whey protein powder to the liquid mixture in the blender.
  3. Add about one cup of ice; stir/swirl the mixture several times then blend on high power until smooth. Pour into a cold glass.
  4. Using your garnish knife, slice the leaf off the last frozen strawberry and place the strawberry decoratively on the surface of the smoothie. This will ensure the drink stays cold while sipping and will give you a delicious bite to chew on when the smoothie is done. Lastly, use your zester to shave orange skin zest over the entire top surface of the smoothie for added vitamins C & A, enzymes, fiber and delivers powerful immunity boosters. Orange peel zest will also provide great visual aesthetics and aromatics. Enjoy!
